CranioSacral

cranial-sacral-therapy-treatmentCST is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system – comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.

How is CranioSacral Therapy Performed?

CranioSacral Therapy is performed on a person fully clothed. Using a light touch — generally no more than the weight of a nickel. Doctor Linda monitors the rhythm of the craniosacral system to detect potential restrictions and imbalances. She uses delicate manual techniques to release those problem areas and relieve undue pressure on the brain and spinal cord and improve the functioning of the central nervous system.

A CranioSacral Therapy session can last from about 15 minutes to more then an hour. The result? A central nervous system free of restrictions. And a body that’s able to return to its greatest levels of performance. By complementing the body’s natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.
